Adding Accounts into INSTAINFANTRY

To add an account into InstaInfantry, please do the following:
In the panel located on the left side of your screen, click on the icon depicting the Instagram logo labeled as “Accounts”
At the top of the screen, next to “Saved Accounts”, click on “New Account”
Enter your account’s username and password
Choose a mobile operating system that you want the software to emulate when automating this account, whether it be iOS or Android. I’ve tested both extensively and can say the differences between the two are negligible but I still personally prefer to use Android user-agents since all of my accounts are generated using Android-based devices.
Select your preferred verification method. If your account is 2FA enabled or in the event of a geographic IP switch, Instagram will ask you to verify your identity by completing a challenge to confirm you’re the owner of the account. You have five main options to choose from: e-mail, mobile phone/WhatsApp, browser extension, backup codes or confirmation from a trusted device.
Email is selected by default and will be the only way you’ll be logging into any of the infantry accounts you purchase from our shop. Phone/confirmation from a trusted device is useful if you’re onboarding accounts you or your clients use regularly on your personal devices. Browser extension is useful if you use a multi-login browser tool for your accounts as you can then import the session they were last in using the Cookie Downloader plug-in. And lastly, backup codes are useful for accounts that have 2FA enabled and went through the process of configuring their backup codes for future use.
- Next, you will need to add a proxy to the account. As I mentioned in the beginning of this section, proxies are one of the most essential things you’ll need when foraying into this form of marketing. They are what mask our true IP addresses and are at the core of any mass botting operation. I highly, highly recommend that you only stick to using mobile proxies when automating accounts you intend on keeping for extended periods of time.
If purchasing your mobile proxies from the GreyHatMarketing Shop, you will be receiving them in HTTPS format. In that scenario, just copy the exact value you receive in the TXT file and insert it into the proxy field. If purchasing proxies elsewhere, make sure that you check the format in which you received them, whether it be SOCKS4, SOCKS5, or HTTPS. If their format is different from “username:password@ip:port”, reformat them before inserting them into the field.
If you’re in need of a refresher for what proxies are and how they differ in quality, please revisit the Proxies section of the Fundamentals chapter. If you have a static proxy that doesn’t ever rotate, ask your provider if they have an API link that you can then insert into the tool for automatic IP rotation. Proxies purchased from the GHM Shop are scheduled to rotate IPs automatically every three hours so you can leave this section blank if purchasing them.
The remaining optional features on the log-in page are only useful for advanced black hat practitioners. If you are a casual user, simply leave these sections blank unless you are using other tools on your accounts alongside InstaInfantry and need to replicate specific android user-agents or preserve/remove cookies of previous sessions.
